Transformation

So, here we finally are...Week 1 of the Transformation Journal. We started Sunday with Genesis...the creation account. And today's readings detailed God's "re-start" through the flood and a new covenant with a rainbow to seal the deal.

A tumultuous beginning for humanity. Created in paradise...we blew it and hid. Living by God's spirit...blew it again and God redeemed a remnant.

And so we see throughout scripture. Humanity messing up and God patiently, painstakingly striving to bring us around, to show us a better way, to bring us into relationship. All because all God really wants is to love us and be loved in return.
